Importantly, you can use Fusea without registering an account or providing any personal identification information (such as name, email address, phone number, or social media account) to access all core functions of the App. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that your use of the App is safe, transparent, and free from unnecessary data collection. This Policy is designed to clearly inform you of how we handle your information, with a specific focus on our commitment to not collecting any facial information, even when you upload images containing people for the App’s core features.
Fusea’s core principle is minimal data collection, and we explicitly do NOT collect, store, transmit, or process any of the following types of information, including but not limited to facial information—even when you use the App’s image upload and fusion features:
We understand that many of the images you upload to Fusea may contain people, including portraits and group photos that hold important memorial significance. However, we want to make it absolutely clear that Fusea does not collect, extract, analyze, or store any facial information from any images you upload, use, or process within the App. This commitment is enforced through every aspect of the App’s design and functionality, and we have implemented strict technical measures to ensure that no facial data is ever collected, even inadvertently. Below is a detailed breakdown of this commitment:
No facial feature extraction: When you upload an image containing people to use the App’s double-image fusion or other image processing features, the App’s technology does not extract, identify, or record any facial features. This includes, but is not limited to, facial landmarks (such as eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows), facial contours, facial expressions, skin tone, or any other unique characteristics that could be used to identify or describe a person’s face. The image processing is limited solely to the visual fusion of the entire image (or selected parts of the image, as chosen by you) and does not involve any analysis of facial details.
No facial recognition or identification: Fusea does not use any facial recognition technology, algorithms, or tools to identify individuals, match faces to databases, or distinguish between different people in uploaded images. Even if multiple images you upload contain the same person, the App will never recognize or link those images based on facial features; all image processing is done based on general visual attributes (such as color, texture, and composition) of the entire image, not on facial data.
No storage of facial data: There is no database, server, or local storage within the App that collects, saves, or archives any facial information. All image processing occurs locally on your iOS device (as explained in Section 2 below), and no facial data—whether in raw, processed, or partial form—is ever stored on our servers, your device’s local storage (beyond the original images you choose to keep), or any third-party services we may use.
No transmission of facial information: Since we do not collect any facial information in the first place, there is no facial data to transmit. None of the data sent between your device and any services associated with Fusea includes facial information, and we never share, sell, or transfer any facial data to third parties (as we do not have any to share).
No use of facial information for any purpose: Even for the App’s core features (such as double-image fusion via the image-to-image API), facial information is not required, used, or considered. The image-to-image API used by Fusea is designed solely to fuse two images based on visual composition and user-selected preferences, not to analyze or process facial content. The API does not have access to any facial data, nor does it have the capability to extract or use such data.
No accidental collection of facial information: We have conducted rigorous testing and implemented technical safeguards to ensure that no facial information is collected accidentally. This includes limiting the App’s access to only the images you explicitly select for upload (rather than full access to your entire photo library, unless you choose to grant it), and configuring the image processing algorithms to ignore and bypass any potential facial data. Any temporary processing of images containing faces is done locally on your device and is immediately discarded once the fusion or editing process is complete, with no facial data retained.
As mentioned earlier, Fusea does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal identification information to use the App. Therefore, we do NOT collect any usernames, passwords, email addresses, phone numbers, social media accounts, or any other information associated with user accounts. You can use all features of the App anonymously, without providing any personal details that could be used to identify you.
We do not collect any unnecessary information about your device, your usage of the App, or your online activities. This includes, but is not limited to, your device’s unique identifiers (such as IMEI, UUID, or MAC address), IP address, location data (GPS or otherwise), browsing history, app usage time, or any other data that is not directly related to the App’s core functionality and your explicit use of it. We do not use any tracking tools, analytics software, or third-party services that collect this type of information.
While Fusea collects no personal information, facial information, or unnecessary data, we may process certain types of information exclusively locally on your iOS device to provide the App’s core features. This processing is temporary, and the information is never stored on our servers, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose other than to fulfill your request within the App. The types of information processed locally include:
To use Fusea’s double-image fusion, album sorting, memorial book making, or影集 splicing features, you will need to upload images from your iOS device’s photo library (or take new photos directly within the App, if you choose). These images are processedonly on your device to perform the requested function (e.g., fusing two images, splicing multiple images into an album, or editing images to fit memorial book templates).
Important details about image processing: (1) The original images you upload remain in your device’s photo library and are never copied to our servers or stored elsewhere by us. (2) Any processed images (such as fused images or edited memorial pages) are saved only to your device’s photo library (if you choose to export or save them), and we do not have access to these processed images. (3) All image processing (including the use of the image-to-image API for double-image fusion) occurs locally on your device, meaning the images never leave your device unless you explicitly choose to export and share them (e.g., via email, messaging apps, or social media) on your own. (4) As stated in Section 1.1, none of this local processing involves collecting, extracting, or analyzing facial information from the images.
When using Fusea, you may select certain preferences or settings to customize your experience, such as choosing image fusion templates, selecting album layouts, adjusting export formats, or saving frequently used settings. These preferences are storedonly locally on your device to ensure a consistent experience when you use the App again. They are never collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers or any third parties. Examples of these preferences include template choices, fusion style settings, export quality options, and album sorting preferences.
During the use of the App’s core features (e.g., double-image fusion, image splicing), temporary data may be generated locally on your device to facilitate the processing. This temporary data includes intermediate versions of images, processing parameters, and other temporary files that are necessary to complete the requested task. This data is automatically deleted from your device as soon as the processing is complete (e.g., once the fused image is generated and saved to your photo library) and is never stored long-term or transmitted to any external servers.
The only purpose for processing any information locally on your device is to provide you with the core features of Fusea, as described in the App’s product description. We do not use any information for advertising, marketing, analytics, research, or any other purpose unrelated to your direct use of the App. Specifically:

Local processing only: All image processing, preference storage, and temporary data generation occurs exclusively on your iOS device. No server storage: We do not maintain any servers or databases that store your images, preferences, or any other information related to your use of the App. This eliminates the risk of server breaches or unauthorized access to your data from external sources.
iOS security integration: Fusea is designed to comply with Apple’s iOS security standards, which include built-in protections for user data stored on the device. Your uploaded images and local preferences are protected by the same security features that safeguard your device’s photo library and other personal data (e.g., device passcodes, Face ID, Touch ID, and iOS encryption).
Temporary data deletion: As mentioned earlier, any temporary data generated during image processing is automatically deleted from your device once the task is complete, ensuring that no unnecessary data is retained.
No third-party access: We do not share, sell, transfer, or disclose any information to third parties, including advertisers, analytics providers, or other service providers. Since we collect no information, there is nothing to share, and we have no partnerships or integrations that would allow third parties to access your data.
Fusea allows you to export the fused images, memorial albums, or spliced 影集 you create within the App to your device’s photo library or share them directly via other apps (e.g., email, messaging apps, social media) of your choice. It is important to note that:
Exporting and sharing is entirely optional and controlled by you. We do not automatically export or share any of your created content.
When you choose to share your content via third-party apps, the sharing process is managed entirely by your device and the third-party app you select. We do not have access to the shared content, and we do not track or monitor any sharing activity.
If you share images containing people, please be aware that the third-party app you use to share may have its own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how those third parties handle your shared content.
